We were so fortunate that located right in front of our guesthouse was a tour agency. On our second day, we have decided to have the whole day to ourselves bathing in the sun and have some remarkable and astonishing experience hover at the water surface snorkeling. So, in the end we got ourselves a tour to the Phi Phi island for about 3000 Bath for both. I am not sure if it is reasonable or not but Im pretty sure that you guys can get it cheaper.
We were so keyed up about this as it would be our first time ever to do snorkeling in such clear and beautiful island. A mini bus picked us up early the morning from our guesthouse to the Roong Aroon pier (Le Rim Chang Restaurant). We were served breakfast right before we head out to the sea to our first island Khai Nok island. It took us about half an hour for us to reach a crystal clear paradise that you would feel cloud nine by just looking at the water. It was such a relief feeling when the sound of the gentle waves and the beautiful scenery stood right in front of me. It was etched in your mind till now. Just an unforgettable moment. We were there for about one hour enjoying the white sandy beaches and as well as a whole new experience snorkeling. I really love snorkeling a lot especially in such a clear water. It is totally a different feeling when you are looking through a crystal clear water full with colorful fishes and beautiful corals. It really did bring me to another dimension where stress does not exist.
Right after that, we continue on heading to Phi Phi island for swimming and sightseeing at the Monkey Beach. We were there for about an hour or so. I had a lot of fun feeding the monkeys especially the cute little ones. After this, we went on shore for lunch at the Phi Phi island itself. It was an enjoyable and delicious buffet lunch at a restaurant there. After filling up our stomach, we were given a chance to buy some souvenirs and as well as sun bathing on the beach.
After one hour of lunch break, we cruise off the island and head down to the Viking Cave. Apparently, the Viking Cave got the name from a Viking that was hiding from the storm in the cave itself. How interesting. After the sightseeing of the cave, we were given another chance to do some snorkeling above the coral gardens teeming with fantastic colorful sea life in Loh Samah Bay.
Our last stop was at a hollywood beach called the Maya Bay. The movie “The Beach” was filmed there due to the fact that it was truly an amazing and magnificent beach. We were given 2 hours of time for us to do what ever we want whether it is swimming, snorkeling, laying down on the beach and sun bathing. So, we did took the opportunity to do as much snorkeling as possible. If can we would like to explore the whole sea with our miserable mask. Haha….Right after that, we head back to the main island Phuket and head back to our guesthouse as well.
All in all, I feel that the whole trip was worth it and it would be better if you guys could bring the price lower. Had a great time and a fun outting.
