A Vintagesnoise Giveaway – Pure Beauty Pomegranate Antioxidant

Like what I said on the previous post. CLOTHING IS POWERFUL. Be selective in what you put on your body to portray the correct image. I believe if you project a positive self-image, people will be more likely to see you as a positive, capable person.

Now I have an interesting question =). Should we follow fashion trends? Well In my opinion, everybody should have their own style and a sense of self-awareness before deciding to follow any popular trends. I don’t follow the trend blindly and I don’t stick to one style. Today I can be girly the next day I can be the grunge look street girl =). Further, from a perspective of individuality, everyone has his/her own personality, identity, and preference, which leads to a diverse world. However, this diversity will significantly lose if people follow the same stylish trends and hence choose similar colour and clothing.

Always remember everyone is special in their own way. The mixing up and matching of colors, styles, and material that goes along with searching for new styles is also a fantastic way to harness your creative imagination.  In fact, lots of folks express their individuality and uniqueness through their style of dress.  So if you haven’t had a chance to try it yet, then you might find that assembling different clothes to fit your personality can be very refreshing.

But to those who love to keep up the fashion trends here’s some trend report:

NEON IS THE NEW BLACK

The trend that is popping out everywhere this season is the NEON fashion trend. Get ready to bring a pop of electric neon color to your wardrobe. It can be fun and can look very chic if worn subtly- just don’t wear it head to toe! Pairing it with neutral colours such as khaki, black, light blue, navy, white or brown can help tone it down. It takes courage to wear neon because you’re guaranteed to be the centre of attention!

IN FULL BLOOM!

You can't really think of spring without thinking of florals. Celebs have all been spotted wearing an abundance of statement floral prints. Whether it’s Lily, daisies, roses, or any other type of foliage, I’m fawning over this season’s photographic and digi-printed blossoms! Now I’m aiming for the perfect floral pants =D.

Statement Necklace is AWESOME!

The chunky statement necklace is a perfect complementary accessory that adds instant glamour to look, whether you’re layering it onto a collared blouse or adding a feminine touch to your worn out, vintage t-shirt. The main key is to keep the rest of your outfit simple.

There actually a lot to talk about =), so just watch out this page for more trend report =)

Besides all prep up and being pretty with the latest fashion trends, we still need to stay healthy and look healthy right? Being in my early 20s, I was lucky that my mom is always very particular with our skin and health. I was given a proper skincare, especially one that has to do with pigmentation. But I have a rather shameful admission to make, It is a confession that would likely shock my beauty-obsessed readers and bring shame upon my household … perhaps that last bit's a tad dramatic, but I just want to really impart upon you how disreputable I believe this admittance to be. I have to admit due to laziness I simply didn't care about my skin. My skin care regimen consists of...washing my face once a day. That's it!

So why am I admitting this dirty little secret? Two reasons: one, I believe I am not alone in this -- I can't be the only woman feeling too busy or lazy to deal with a 12-step skin routine every day, right? And two, I need to learn how to lead a busy life and still take care of my skin. Why am I admitting this dirty little secret? Two reasons:

  1. I believe I am not alone in this! I can't be the only woman feeling too busy or lazy to deal with a skin routine every day, right?

  2. I need to learn how to lead a busy life and still take care of my skin.

Recently I’ve been reading a lot of skin articles, and i start to realise I’m aging =D. Do you know that our skin ages in two distinct ways:

Intrinsic ageing (internal) and extrinsic (external) ageing. Intrinsic ageing is the natural process, which begins in our 20s. Extrinsic ageing is caused by external factors like the sun and pollution that age the skin prematurely. As we age, everything from collagen production to cell turnover slows down. This results in wrinkles, thin and sagging skin, larger pores and dry skin. Though it starts in your 20s, the signs are usually not visible till you hit 30. So choosing the perfect skin care is important!

As you know I've been using Pure Beauty Pomegranate range for the past few weeks. I have to say I love these products! I found the Pomegranate 2 in 1 foam cleanser makes a good cleanser.  My skin was already looking much brighter immediately after the facial. It was great!

used a kidney bean size and foamed it and washed my face.

After I cleansed my face, I dropped a few drops of the toner onto a cotton pad and gently smooth it all over my face. I always feel that it very important to use a toner as it not only helps to brighten and tone my skin, it also helps to remove any remaining impurities from the skin.

My favourite product in the range is the Pomegranate Antioxidant Essence. Upon contact with the skin, essence just melts into it creating a soothing veil around the face. It made my skin both soft and supple. It baths the skin with hydration the whole day. I do notice a difference on my skin after using it for 2 weeks.

use the Pomegranate Antioxidant Facial Mask once a week. The mellow scent of fruit complete the whole experience and helps me relax at night. My skin is intensively hydrated, lifted the next morning.

The eye cream does not feel oily at all, in fact it absorbs very well into the skin. I like the fact that the pomegranate extract helps in hydrating the eye area.

Now that I’ve used it for 3 weeks, the lines have greatly diminished and my skin looks radiant, brighter and well hydrated. But I’m telling you that do not take my word for it, try it out for a month and see the results for yourself. =)

I guess now you probably know alot about the Pure Beauty Pomegranate range but have you heard about the latest range? The Pure Beauty Youth Restore with Black Pearl Skin Care line. This range of products was created to specially combat the 1st sign of aging, helps to diminish dark spots and pigmentation. It also reduce fine lines, boost elasticity and revitalize our skin stem cells. One more thing I have to add is that advanced nano technology was used to create the products!

Well the good news is Black pearl is out in Watson store, Keep a look out!!! Oh yea and not to forget on the 2nd of June Fish Leong The ambassador of Pure Beauty will be appearing in both Kinta City ( 12:00pm) and Sg Wang ( 5:30pm). Remember to mark ya calendar for June 2nd~ =)

Pretty In Pink

Pink is one of my favorite color and the easiest color to wear all summer long...light pink, close to white will keep the sun from burning down your back. The lighter the shade = the cooler your temp will stay. I will just have to say that when I was a young girl, I was always the 'little lady' and my mom will put me in all these pretty pink dresses and my favorite pink knit sweater =)

In the Pink – Photographer Saskia Wilson and stylist Bree McDonald team up for a story of flirty pink fashions shot for our latest exclusive. New face Teresa strikes the perfect balance between delicate femininity and youthful nonchalance in knits and dresses from the likes of Carven, Marni and Something Else. Undone hair and rouged cheeks by beauty artist Corinna Wilmshurst complete the girly ensembles.

Come Together

How's all my lovely readers doing lately? Sorry for the long hiatus~ I've been busy helping out a friend of mine in his studio. But everything is good now I can start blogging. So This is what happened on the 29th of April. I had so much fun getting rid all my old clothes. I'm glad that a partial of my clothes are gone =).

Being a certified shopaholic is not a good thing, my closet is still filled to the brim with clothes and accessories. Shirts, skirts, jeans, socks, sweaters--you name it,I got it all in different colors. Sometimes I found myself buried under a clothes avalanche a few times already, and I'm having serious trouble entering, let alone cramming stuff, into my bedroom. All these signify one thing: I really need to get rid of all my old clothes.

So here we go again...me and my friend Rachel will be selling our pre-loved clothes for a pretty low price this coming Sunday at PUBLIKA, Mont Kiara. This is actually a fundraiser event in support of local musician Alda Evan Tan. Remember to head down to Publika to show us your love and support. We are letting go brands like Zara, MNG, Topshop, Miss Selfridge and many more. Do drop by and say hi…oh and don’t forget to buy something =).
