Go Tartan!!!

Me and my darl Cyn is crazy over tartan haha~A few days back we went shopping.I bought a tartan shirt and she got herself 2 tartan dresses from forever 21.Tartan shirt used to be the domain of truckers, farmers and lumberjacks~Well whether it's borrowed from the boyfriend or snapped one up from the many designers who loved checks this season, everyone is rocking the tartan shirt right now.i feel very comfortable wearing it.Fashion is so often physically constrictive,It's refreshing to think i could run around in this all day.I don't own many shirts, but a lumberjack is definitely on my list.Next i'm aiming for a baby blue oxford button up shirt =)

~Do~
1.Decide on your look and stick with it.tartan is a dramatic print and will make an impact,so be equally definite with our styling-whether it's posh, tomboy or punk.
2.Hunt for junkyard sales you can find some cheap, cool and pretty tartan stuffs there.
3.check out fresh colourways to give the trend a modern twist.Henry Holland did purple and Just Cavalli did mauve.Find a tone that suits you.

Audrey Hepburn

Gawjuz givenchy dress...totally love the unique back part design
Loving that bathtub sofa =)Holly Golightly looking elegant for her partyGiddy spree on the town with Fred baby or hmm...paul baby =)I want that trench coatA legendary style icon,a timeless beauty we all know and love,Audrey Hepburn...She was born 4 May 1929 and sadly passed away on the 20th January 1993..we lost her lovely self to abdominal cancer.Everyone knows her for her elegance and beauty plus for her starring roles in countless movie classics...like Breakfast At Tiffany's (one of my all time fav movie),Sabrina,The Nun's Story,My Fair Lady,Roman Holiday, etc. After Audrey's last film, she was appointed a goodwill ambassador to the United Nations Children's Fun (UNICEF).she dedicated the remainder of her life to helping impoverished children in the poorest nations. Hepburn's travels were made easier by her wide knowledge of languages;she spoke French,Italian,English,Dutch, and Spanish. From 1988 until 1992,she worked in some of the most profoundly disadvantaged communities of Africs,South America and Asia.In 1992,she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in recognition of her work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
We look at so many beautiful models dripping in the most beautiful things money can buy on this earth.well in some cases their beauty is only skin deep. But Hepburn is far more different~despite her breath taking looks this beauty is an angel...
all the humanitarian work she did throughout her life which touched so many disadvantaged souls. The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she knows.
~I just LOVE everything about her~

"I saw but one glaring truth: These are not natural disasters but man-made tragedies for which there is only one man-made solution – peace."

Katie Holmes: Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2009 Ad Campaign

Yea~yea~everyone knows that Katie Holmes is the new face for Spring/Summer Miu Miu 2009 ad campaign~I never post about it earlier because there's not much pictures. What is an ad campaign post without those stunning pictures right?Well i'm not a huge Katie Holmes fan..But she's rocking in this ad.Holmes replaces the French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis, who fronted the autumn/winter 2008 campaign. American actresses Kirsten Dunst and Lindsay Lohan have also fronted past campaigns. This is the first major advertorial campaign Holmes has starred in,which was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott,Holmes portrays “a luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality” in the images, which were inspired by the Italian film director Fellini.

Here's the whole range of Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2009
